30-Day Walk Challenge

Four weeks of walking, built for women who want to get stronger without making it a whole production.

Start where you are. The plan meets you there.

You don't need to be fit to start.

Track 0 is walking, nothing else. No vest, no equipment, no prior anything.

You don't need an hour.

Day 1 is ten minutes. The longest day in the whole month is forty.

You don't need anyone to notice.

Most of this happens under a jacket, on a walk you were taking anyway.

Choose where you're starting

There is no wrong answer here, and you can switch any time.

How this tracker works

1. Pick a track. 2. Walk. 3. Come back and check the day off.

Colours: red border is today, dark tile is done, sand tile is a rest and share day, light red tile is a milestone.

Missed a day? You can still check off the last 3 days. Anything older locks.

Weekly plan & challenge rules

Week 1 — Build the Habit. Short walks. Showing up matters more than effort.

Week 2 — Add the Time. Walks get longer. Weight stays the same.

Week 3 — Add the Weight. Weight goes up, time comes down.

Week 4 — Make It Yours. Longest walk of the challenge, then settle into a pace you'd keep.

To finish: log 25 of the 30 days. They don't have to be consecutive.

Do I need a vest?

No. Track 0 is the whole 30 days with no equipment. If you finish it, you finished the challenge — same as everyone else.

If you do want to add it: most people start at 5 lb and move up after a couple of weeks. Light enough that you forget it's there by the second walk. The Zelus weighted vest comes in 5, 10 and 15 lb.

There's no rush. Plenty of people do all 30 days on Track 0 and pick this up later.
